Our condolences to you on the death of Bob. We were neighbors of Bob and Daphne when they lived in Albany on Fir Oaks Drive. I was mainly a good friend of Daphne through dance aerobics, P.E.O. and a Quilting group. Daphne would come with a skein of yarn and some knitting needles. We heard many "Bob" stories. Bob was always inviting people over for dinner and we quilters wanted Daphne to adopt us, especially at Thanksgiving. We were glad that Bob continued to send us his annual Christmas letter so we could keep track of how he was doing. He certainly led a full life and was an inspiration for retirement.

Bob Williams became a life long friend through our positions in GAPS but we quickly realized our roots went all the way back to being born and raised in the Lewiston/Clarkston valley. Delores and I considered Bob and Daphne great friends.
My condolences to his family.

Sherry and I am heartbroken to hear of Bob´s passing. Between our business years together @ GAPS and socially with he and Daphne
here in Albany, we enjoyed them both. He was a good person to head this school district and to steer us through the merge.
We still treasure our gift of his hand carved mallards.
Glad we last corresponded only a couple months back; but, no hint of
any health being more than "age."
I looked forward to again seeing Bob next Fall when Cycle Oregon would bring me back to his area and will miss him.
