Mark Manskey Obituary
Mark Steven Manskey passed away in Denton, Texas on Monday, September 13, 2021. He was born on June 27, 1953 in Vallejo, CA on the U.S Naval base hospital at Mare Island to Reinhold and Donna Lee Manskey. Mark was the oldest of six children. (Marcie, Maureen, Julie, Kay, and Keith).
Mark served in the United States army as a meat and food inspection in both Tyler and Paris, TX. He grew up in Spokane, Washington until he married in 1981 to Jennifer Ann Farber and moved to Texas where they lived and raised thier five children. He attended Texas A&M University and UT Southwestern Medical School. He was employed by Costco in Frisco,Texas. Mark's favorite activity was riding his motorcycle. He never met a stranger and loved to make everyone laugh. He always found the good in everyone.
He is preceded in death by his father Reinhold Manskey III, his sister Kay, and his son from a prior marriage, Joseph "Joey" Peter Manskey.
Mark is survived by his mother Donna Lee and his five children: Heidi Thomas and her husband Shane and their three children Dalton, Abigail, and Henry. Rebecca "Becky" Schafer and her husband Jared and their daughters Karly and Karsyn. Danielle Bearden and her husband Wayne and their children Drake and Elizabeth. Caitlin Salmon and her husband Tyler and their daughter Bennett, his son Tucker Manskey and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, September 25, 2021, at DeBerry Funeral Directors.
Due to family allergy concerns, we'd prefer silk flowers or flower-less plants please.

Mark is my daughter in law's dad! I know he loved his kids and I know he thought about them everyday. He was very funny and caring. He welcomed my son and our family like we were already family. He will be missed!! God bless and praying for all the family.
