Patrick Timlin Obituary
Patrick Michael Timlin, 79, of Decatur, Texas, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Medical City Denton Hospital. He was born in Roscoe, Pennsylvania to Michael and Etta Timlin on July 29, 1942. He was a Certified Machinist, Engineer, Inventor, and Entrepreneur as well as a devout Catholic, beloved Spouse, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather. He was an extraordinary man who will be deeply missed by family and friends.
The Rosary and Visitation will be on Friday, January 28, 2022. The Rosary will begin at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors, 2025 W. University Dr. Denton, Texas. Visitation immediately follows until 8:00 pm.
The funeral service will be on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 12:00 pm, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2255 N Bonnie Brae St. Denton, Texas.
There will be a reception immediately following the church service on Saturday at the Embassy Suites, 3100 Town Center Trail Denton, Texas.
In Lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Patrick Timlin.

Pat was a wonderful brother in law. He was kind and giving and loved his wife and family with all his heart. He was an intelligent man who made his way in this world on his own self motivation. He was highly respected by all who knew him. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him. May our dear Lord and Savior take him gently in his arms and bring him to his heavenly home. May our Lord bless his wife Carolyn who is wounded from his loss and lift and lead her through all her remaining years until she and Pat are together again. In Jesus name, Amen.

We had been thinking about Pat for a while and wondering how he was doing. We had tried to co tact him not knowing he was ill.

I am so sorry for your loss. To be around the both of you at church, St.John the Baptizer in Bridgeport, was very up lifting to be around such a perfect couple. Pat always had that contagious smile that make everyone feel better just to be around him. He will be missed but never forgotten. May God bless Pat's family and give them the strength and faith to endure this sad time in their lives.

If we could borrow a line from the obituary, he was indeed a extraordinary person. We got to know Pat through church activities at St. Johns and ABVM in Decatur, KOC functions and an occasional visit while out shopping.
