Patsy Sargent Obituary
Patsy Ann Sargent was born July 24, 1935 and passed away Saturday morning, December 15, 2018 at her residence in Sanger, TX as a result of multiple myeloma.
Patsy was the daughter of Thomas and Maude White who preceded her in death. Patsy married Dorwin Sargent in 1955 and they were married 50 years until his death in 2005.
Patsy is survived by her son, Dorwin "Chip" Sargent, Jr.; grandsons, Dorwin "Trey" Sargent, III and his wife Couri, Hunter Sargent and his wife Rachel, their mother Vicki Sargent; great-granddaughter, Addie Mae Sargent; brother, Donald White and sister, Sheila Rheaume.
A service of celebration will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 1100 Malone St., Denton. Rev. Jeff Williams will officiate the service. Interment will be Friday, December 21 in Jasper, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be considered to the Denton Texas Kiwanis Children's Clinic or the Denton Public School Foundation.

More of a mother to me than my own mother

Chip, how sad it is to read about Patsy`s death. I recall first knowing you at DHS and later becoming friends with your mother and her friends. There were good times spent in her beautiful home and on "adventures" in the Metroplex! She was at my home the day my son and I drove away to move me to Denver. There are so good memories of all your family!
