Ricky Slimp Obituary
Ricky Lowe Slimp, 65 of Denton passed away December 24, 2020 at his home. He was born July 24, 1955 to Edwin Lowe Slimp and Shirley Ray (Williams) Slimp in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended the TWU Demonstration School and the Denton State School.
Graveside Services were held Monday, December 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eakins Cemetery in Ponder, Texas.
Ricky is survived by his mother Shirley Ray Slimp, brother Gary Slimp, sister Cindy Slimp-Newman and husband Leonard Newman, niece, Amanda Newman Smith and her family, nephew, Robert Lowe Newman, as well as Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father in 2018.

I’m Debi Ritchie’s mother; she and Cindy were close friends in school. Cindy, you know I always felt you were another daughter. I am so sorry to hear about your Ricky, and know the pain you’re feeling. We lost our son Ricky in 2017; grief is so hard. I’m so sorry for what you’re all going through.
