To Mary Ann and family,
I just learned today of Alan's death and so sorry to hear of it. I worked with Alan at St. Anthony's on 4EB for many years. He was a great and kind man and too young. I was called by a former coworker from there and we are all saddened. He gave of himself for so many unfortunate people with Psychiatric problems and taught us all alot.
Love and prayers to all of you.

Dear Mary Ann and family,
We have never met. Alan was a high school friend in band, choir, scholastic and social events. I can't think of high school without thinking of Alan. He was such a great guy and friend to all. Knowing he is gone leaves a hole in my life. My sincere sympathy to you. I can only imagine your feelings of loss. He will live in my memories as I am sure he will in yours.

Dear MaryAnn and Family,
I was shocked and saddened to learn of Alan's death. It was communicated to me by a patient this morning who had taken her mother-in-law to get help from Alan, and help they got. Alan and I go back a ways as young psychiatrists at the Fort, sharing an analyst together, and having a reciprocal feeling of respect and admiration for each other. His easy smile and warmth always left me feeling better in having had a contact with him. Anita and I send our sincerest condolences to Mary Ann, the Family, friends and colleagues of Alan. His kindness and lively spirit will be with us always.

A life of Service! He will be remember with much respect and love by many patients that counted on him for a chance to live a better life.I know, as we talk many times about his concerns for them and doing the right thing:and the right thing he did.
I got to visit with him last month and reminded him of how much he has done and the respect they have for him.I told him to take care of himself and he smile and said...I am ,I am doctor and I am doing what I love ! To the famiy I say Thank you for sharing him with us.I will always remember Dr.Levy and the "Guys" will too ! Luisa Lumbano-Retired Staff,Director Patients Rights Program.

My heart goes out to the Levy family. Dr. Levy was a colleague and friend at Fort Logan for decades. We enjoyed long talks about people, psychiatry (both the practice and the industry), the world. He was ageless. He leaves a large hole, and I will always treasure his memory.

To the Alan Levy family: I worked with Alan for many years at Fort Logan and could always appreciate how patient he was with all of us who worked with him and for those he worked. He was a decent and gentle man who always had time for a kind word or gesture. Fort Logan's patient's and staff have lost a valuable friend.

Dear Mary Ann,
I was so sorry to learn about Alan. Just last week, I met with Louise and she shared her photos of your recent vacation in Europe. The few times I met with Alan in Winnipeg, he touched me with his kindness and gentleness... and radiated a fundamental decency ... he was and will remain " a mench" ...
My sincere sympathy to you and your family at this very difficult time.
Sincerely, Marlene Moore (Winnipeg, Manitoba)
