Kristen, I am not sure if you still see these messages but I just now learned of Brian's passing and I am just devastated. I am so sorry for your loss. I met Brian years ago when he was working as Denny's assistant. I booked Denny to perform at a corporate event and Brian was there with him. Later when Denny died I worked with Brian on numerous corporate events. He joined me and my team in Las Vegas and several times in Chicago. Because of Covid I have not been producing large, in-person corporate events so Brian was not on my radar screen. I checked his website today to message him about a meeting that i was hoping we could collaborate on and saw the terrible news and it was a punch in the gut. Sending you much love, light and positive energy. All my best, Robyn Wetzel (northbrook, Illinois)

I've just heard this horrible news. I can't even believe it. Brian was just a wonderful man who I thought would live happily ever after. He was very special to me though we lost touch...but still a very precious friend of mine and I am so terribly sad to hear this....I will always remember his sweet laughter, his kind and gentle ways, his fun and exciting spirit....This world should have had him much longer. This is a terrible tragedy he isn't here anymore. Love forever, Brian. Rest In Peace and may all your loved ones, friends, and ski hills be with you forever. xoxoxo

Artisphere in Greenville, SC won't be the same without Brian. My sister & brother in law were visiting from CO. They lived just a few miles from Brian. In our conversations I bought a tee shirt. I had Brian's hand prints added. He asked where I wanted the prints. I pointed to the front chest part of the shirt. He said "Are you sure you want them there?". I thought, he's right, it would look better on the back. Not until I left did I realize what I had asked for, his hand print on my chest. I was very embarrased. RIP BRIAN. We will miss you and your talent.

Many of us in the town of Greenville, SC, are just learning about Brian's death. A friend of mine bought his painting of Johnny Cash once when he was here, and he is so proud of it! I think I speak for this whole town that Brian's presence will be sorely missed for the rest of our Artisphere days. Sending much sympathy and love to all his family. Our hearts are heavy and feeling broken, too.
Brian's lovely wife took this photo at Artisphere.

Brian and I met and became very close friends working at Java Plaza, in Fort Collins in 1993. He taught me how to make my first cappuccino! He was a crazy, full of life guy that I was intstantly drawn to. He had an effect on everyone he had contact with, including myself, and we had so many good times. Although I have not seen Brian in years, he has been in my thoughts always, and I am so saddened to hear he is gone. The world is missing a truly talented, beautiful man. I miss you, Brian!
