June 8, 1928 - Oct. 9, 2021

We celebrate the life of Constance L. Malone who was fondly called by her eight grandchildren and one great grandchild, "Becca." She passed peacefully in Centennial, Colorado and is survived by her five children, Amanda Malone, Shelley Moore, Tracy Lyon, Peter Malone (Cindy) and Seana Malone. Connie graduated from the University of Michigan, and received a Masters Degree from University of Denver, and a Masters Degree from the University of Colorado. Connie was known for her love of culture, literature, and journalism. She was an English and Journalism teacher at Arapahoe High School and Euclid Junior High School. During her retirement she educated and befriended men in jail who aspired to their GED. Connie was an avid traveler who loved to travel with her family and friends. Connie was beloved for her compassionate nature, sharp intelligence, and dry wit. Most notably, Connie was an amazing mother and grandmother.Her death was preceded by her husband William J. Malone and her parents, Harley S. and Jane S. Jones, and sister Nancy Nash.
Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers please send donations to: Prisoners Literature Project www.prisonlit.org.
