This is sad news for all of us that knew Craig. To Craig's family all I can say is that he was a wonderful person to have as a friend. I am so sorry for your loss. Skiing in the backcountry and hut trips will never be the same without having Craig along. He was the most enthusiastic skier with a big grunt reserved for each turn! Craig was an incredibly talented person and a true craftsman. I'm going to miss him. He was one of those people you expected to know your whole life.

Dear Sally, Vance and Jim,

All the Huntingtons are thinking of the good times we had with Craig and your family. We remember his attempts to stay on a poma life at the top of Steamboat Springs when he was too young and lightweight to keep his skis on the snow. He just hung on in mid air. Frank has videos of this couragous spectacle. And we also remember him sharing a chairlift with Thomas when they got older and we skiied at Vail. Both friends wore the "wet look slick" ski pants and nearly slid off the chair because they forgot to put the bar down in front of them as they rode high above a valley.
Another vivid memory was Martha's Vineyard when Craig made a working volcano out of mud that he dried and tooth picks and ketchup and something else that made it explode.

We have had so many many happy times with Craig that we support his decision but will miss him like crazy. He added so very much to life. He was so smart and creative and fun.
All the Huntingtons send love and hugs to all the Allens including Olivia and Wyatt.

We hope to see you soon. xoxo Patricia

With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
