I remember Dan from his childhood. His grandmother was my great aunt, and I attended his parents' wedding. I took pride in his accomplishments over the years. I mourn his loss and send my best to his family.

Danny and Brendan, your father and I were cousins. I remember Dan as a quiet and brilliant man, who was particularly quick witted. I used to watch in fascination while he and his brother John played music in their basemet in Connecticut. I was a little girl then. My family is just heart broken, and we are keeping you in our prayers. You are in our thoughts. God Bless!

On behalf of the entire O'Neill family, we would like to express our deepest sympathy to Brendan and Danny. Our mother (Ann O'Neill) and Dans mother are cousins so we grew up visiting and playing with Dan and John. Dan was a very kind and gentle kid and an incredible man. Our prayers go out to you both.

Dan…He is the MAN!...and will always be a champion and much more to the people he represented and understood so well. We, the labor, that makes this country what it is has lost a most valuable asset and advocate. His work will not be forgotten, in fact, it will live on as his legacy. Even now, as angels, both Dan and Martha together again can achieve anything and will always and forever be in our hearts.

Thanks Dan. You are the MAN!

Wage earners have lost a champion from their corner! Dan worked with me on my own EEO case against my former employer. Although we never met in person, we spoke via telephone a number of times and exchanged numerous email and other correspondence. I found him to be extremely personable, he had a great sense of humor, and I was constantly in awe of his thorough knowledge of the Law. I wish to express my deepest sympathies to his family, friends and coworkers.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Minahan family. Words cannot express how you may be feeling especially just loosing Martha a few months ago and now loosing Dan. Now they are together.

I met Dan once when I was a child. His mother and my mother (Kathleen King) are cousins. My mother spoke affectionately about Dan, Martha, and the boys over the years as she was given updates from Jean. Danny and Brendan, though we have never met, know that I hold you in my heart and prayers. May God make His presence known to you as you go through these difficult days.

Dan cared --he was committed to helping people, he made a difference in the lives of so many, and he had a marvelous sense of humor which I will miss. I thank his family for sharing him with us.

My deepest sympathies to the Minahan family. I only knew Dan jr as a child in Fairfield Ct, but have been in contact through his Mother of his journey through life.
May all Gods consolation be with them all.

This is such a tragic event. I only learn of Dan's passing today. He was an absolutely incredible man and consummate professional. He assisted AFGE Local 1662, at Fort Huachuca, Arizona on many matters and always had a tremendous outlook on everything. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.

This is an incredible loss for such a magical family. My father was a fellow attorney with Dan, long ago. The only consolation in this sad time is his reunion with his glorious wife, Martha. My heart goes out to Danny and Brendan.

My thought and prayers have to be for the family at this time. Dan is a true and sincere friend. I always looked forward to speaking with him concerning some form of technology that he had just learned. We certainly will miss his sure footed method of problem solving.

Your loss is truly felt by many. Although I only met Dan last year I spoke with him often on the phone with AFGE issues here at Robins Air Force Base. Dan was always making us laugh and always happy. I am sure he will be missed deeply by all that knew him and loved him. He truly did alot of good things with his law practice and he helped many of our employees here at Robins more then you will ever know. God bless you and keep you all during this tough time.
Respectfully and sincerely,
