Dawn Rybon Obituary

Dawn Kathleen Beatrice Rybon, 44, of Kittredge, Colorado passed away at home June 16, 2015 after losing her battle with Cancer. Dawn was born in Denver, Colorado on Dec. 20, 1970 and attended East Denver High School. Dawn married her incredible husband John Rybon on Sept. 5, 1999. She went on to follow her caregiving passion and earned a license as a Clinical Nurse Aide. After spending a few years as a CNA, Dawn took a natural path and moved on to childcare. Dawn spent the next 20 years giving love and aid to the families she worked with. It was always in Dawn to offer help and care even as she fought her own battle. She had a love of dance, nature & animals. There wasn't a legged, winged or gilled creature that she didn't offer her love and kindness. And lest we forget she loved the water, which took her to favorite places like Pawley's Island, SC and Strawberry Park Hot Springs, CO. Dawn is survived by her husband, John Rybon, mother, Mary Lou Gatewood, father Ron Gatewood, brother, Robert Wrigley, two sisters, Michelle Scroggins & Leeann Gatewood, 3 Nieces, 4 Nephews and countless loved ones & friends. A Service will be held on July 11th to share our memories of Dawn and send out our love on her next journey. Connect with family or friends for detailed information. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to any animal rescue or cancer fund.

Dawn leaves behind a life story that will be spoken of often with smiles.... no tears. For we will not sorrow just as the rest also do who have no hope.1 Thessalonians 4:13.

The girl with the light in her eyes and beautiful smile that lit up a room when she entered. Beautiful memories of a beautiful loving caring woman and friend.

I will miss your radiant, contagious smile, your giggle and free spirit. You have touched many with love and friendship. You will always be my dragonfly soulmate. Blow in the soft breeze my friend. For every time we feel the wind, see the rustle of the leaves or hear the tinkling of a wind chime, we will know you are present. Forever.
