Dear Ger, Rhian, Niamh, Fiona and Carys -
I am so sorry to hear of Eileen's passing. You were all so kind to me the summer I met you in Denver, with Eileen going out of her way to look after a family friend. Fond memories hanging out with the Horgan girls, and Ger, in Denver in 1996. Hoping you are all hanging in there and pls let me know when you are in Dublin next as it wld be great to see you again.

We wish we could be with you today to celebrate the life of such a dear friend. Her door was always open, her welcome so warm and her joy unbounded. Her love and delight in her children, her family, Ireland and music was infectious. She cared so much for all she knew with unending charity and kindness. Although we were unable to be together very often we were never apart. Eileen may you rest In peace. To Ger, the girls, the family and friends we send our deepest condolences and prayers. Norm and Jen, David and Lynn, Jackie and Matt.

To the Horgan family - I am shocked and saddened by the loss of Eileen. We knew each other from CHVE through Creek Speech & Debate. I had just had a nice chat with her at Greenwood Athletic Club a couple of weeks ago and can't believe she is gone. Heaven has a new angel in Eileen. My prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.

Dear Ger and family,
We came to know Eileen as we spent our holidays as neighbors in Eileen's beloved Querrin, Co Clare Ireland.
We are devastated to hear of her death and will miss her so much. She loved her garden and her wonderful pots full of summer color.
May God Rest her .

I am still in shock as I write this.
I met Eileen when we volunteered at our daughters' high school.
My most vivid memory of Eileen will always be her love of people, especially her family. Her eyes would sparkle and her face beam with joy when she spoke of her daughters and Gerald!
The world lost an angel. I believe she is smiling down on us sending down her love.
I am honored to be able to say she was my friend.
