FERNANDEZ, GILBERT D
-Age 43 of Golden, Colorado, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2004. Gilbert was born in Pueblo, Colorado on November 12, 1960. Gilbert was preceded in death by his father, Morris Eloy Fernandez and sister Loretta Vigil.?He is survived by his mother Fermie Gutierrez and stepfather John Gutierrez of Pueblo; daughter Latisha Fernandez of Lakewood, her son Damion Ecco and her daughter Divinity; daughter Veronica Fernandez of Pueblo; son Isaiah Fernandez of Taos, NM. He is also survived by his brothers: Ralph Duran (Priscilla) of Santa Rosa, NM, and John Fernandez of Albuquerque, NM; sisters: Bernadette Fernandez of Las Vegas, NM, Pauline Lucero (Carlo) of Albuquerque, NM, and Doris Gumino (David) of Colorado Springs, CO; Special friend Laura Montelongo of Pueblo; and many beloved Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
-Gilbert was best known for his vast network of close friends and family, a career in construction and a love for hunting and the outdoors.
-A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2004 at the American Mountaineering Center, 710 10th St., Golden, CO. Flowers and cards can be sent to 835 Van Gordon St., Golden, CO 80401.
