Jeanie, I was surprised to see where Jon has passed away. I lost John a year ago so I know a little bit about what you are feeling. I am very sorry.

Oh, the memories we shared and the conversations we've had over the years. I will see you again someday and we'll catch up. Until then, give Farmer Brown a hug for me.

Jon and I met as young flight students in Pensacola many years ago in 1976. I remember his upbeat nature and willingness to mentor his shipmates through difficult parts of our training.
When we reconnected a few years ago, I sensed that same wellspring of positive energy as he described his volunteer work with local youth groups.
Jon's ability to maintain a strong spirit and positive outlook during his long and difficult medical journey remains an inspiration for all.
Sailor rest your oar. We have the watch.

You touched a lot of lives Jon and will be forever remembered. I will always cherish those moments we spent together in SSU Electronics Engineering Technology classes and at SSU NROTC Unit. I Salute you, and GOD Bless you for all you did!
