Betty was my best friend growing up. (we told everybody we were twins because we thought we looked alike. )
We met about age 7 and kept in touch as much as possible ever since. She was always a sweet, happy, fun, dependable friend. She will be missed so much but so happy she´s with her husband and family and her Savior now.

I was saddened to hear of Betty's passing, although I realize that Betty is now free from the effects of Alzheimers. In my encounters with Betty at Skyline High School, I cannot remember a single minute when Betty lost her patience with any of the staff, students, or parents who interacted with her. She was a patient, kind, and competent secretary who performed her duties in a busy, stressful job with joy and ease, always smiling. As a teacher at Skyline, I felt her warmth and exuberance. Whenever I visited her in the office, I was always welcomed with her friendliness, and I left feeling happier for the rest of the school day. In many ways, Betty made the world a much better place for all of us. I extend my condolences to Betty's family. We will all miss her angelic spirit. ``George Brown, former teacher at Skyline
