To Billy's family: I was saddened to read of the passing of a member of "Old Sandy". I consider Billy a friend from my childhood growing up there. I was fortunate to hang out with Billy and Jimmy Jones (Jim) during our school years. Ellen and Bud Jones treated us like family. I regret never having seen Billy since we graduated from Jordan High in 1961. However, he left a very positive image with me from those memories. I see from others comments, he touched many lives in a positive way. Please accept my condolences and best wishes for your families.

Much of my childhood is flooded with memories spent with the Crump Family. It seemed like most of the activities happened on Laurel Drive and Pauline and Billy always made me feel welcome and at home. Some of my favorite memories with Billy include going to Cy's Market to get a treat, the hundreds of times he gave us a ride to or home from Starship Theatres in the “van” and the numerous times he had to tell us to be quiet while we were playing because he was trying to sleep! When my mom joined Pauline in the catering business, I got to spend more time with the Crump's. We had many adventures in catering and I don't think anyone washed more dishes at the Masonic Temple than Billy!

Such an amazing family and I'm so honored to call them my friends. Each person in this family has influenced my life for the better.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and I love you all so very much!

Aunt Pauline and kids, I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Billy. He was a favorite. Loved his sense of humor and how he lived to tease us. Always remember your visits to California to see us. I will see you Friday.

Crump Family,
My heart is with all of you at this difficult time. Billy will never be forgotten. I have the best memories of such a great man, always driving his truck with the ladder in back. He and Pauline loved all of is and treated us like family. I had so much fun going with Sam and Billy and Pauline to Florence Oregon. I love your family, who would have thought life would go so fast. So many good memories, most of all so much love. Cancer may have won his body, but cancer cannot take his spirit.I'm truly sorry and I want you all to know I love you. Love you Billy, rest in love.. I'm sure Trent is now talking your ear off.hugs!

We will always cherish the fun times spent with Billy and Pauline. Billy's dry wit was always a great source of laughter in our little "Lake Powell" group. He spent many hours walking along the Lake Powell landscape and always returned with a smile, a pocket full of rocks & little treasures, and a sunburn. We love you Pauline, and our prayers will be with you, your children and your grandchildren as you journey through this difficult time. We are sure there is a lot of joking and laughter taking place on the other side.
