Dale Giauque Obituary
Born April 27, 1936 in Salt Lake City. Graduated East High School and attended Weber State College.
Married Ann Kooyman December 27, 1962. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Dale was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was a gentle man of quiet service with a deep voice and big frame, never comfortable accepting praise or thanks for his deeds.
He loved his family, wife Ann, children Scott (April) and Marc (Sherilyn) and 12 grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank those involved in Dale's care over the years.
Visitations will be held Friday, June 24th at the Bountiful 53rd Ward building, 1356 N. 650 E. Bountiful, from 6-8 pm, and on Saturday, June 25th from 11:30am-12:30pm. A funeral will be held Saturday, June 25th at 1pm at the Bountiful 53rd Ward building.

ANN, I WAS SORRY TO HEAR OF DALE'S PASSING. WE ARE SEEING THE END TO THE OF YET ANOTHER ERA. I REALIZE THAT FOR SOME TIME YOU HAVE HAD SOME DIFFICULT CHALLENGES WITH DALE'S HEALTH ISSUES. AREN'T WE GLAD THAT THESE PROBLEMS CAN BE OVERCOME IN THE LARGER PICTURE
MY WIFE HAD SOME OUTPATIENT SURGURY IN PROVO TODAY AND WE JUST GOT HOME. PLEASE EXCUSE ME FROM NOT BEING WITH YOU AT THE FUNERAL TOMORROW.
I DO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE FEELING AT THIS TIME. I HAVE NOW LOST A WIFE, A DAUGHTER, AND A GRANDSON, ALL OF THEM FAR TO EARLY.
PLEASE ACCEPT MY SYMPATHIES AT THIS TIME.

The Giauque's were our neighbors for many years. I always remember the family as wonderful, giving people. Ann and Dale were so amazing to our family and helping with my father. Much love to the family.
