DANIEL RODGERS

Daniel Brent Rodgers 1961 ~ 2010 Daniel "Danny" Rodgers, 48, of Orting, WA, died Fri., April 16, 2010 in a tragic car accident. Danny, was born at the Presidio Army Base Hospital in San Francisco, CA, May 25, 1961 to Brent and Shirley Neil Rodgers. Raised in Granger, UT, Danny graduated from Granger High School, where he was active in various sporting teams and became an Eagle Scout. Danny, a Master Welder and profoundly accomplished craftsman, owned NW Customized Welding, Inc., spent seventeen years working for Todd Shipyards, and built custom homes over the course of his career. Danny married Samuel (Sam) Ruth Bokor on August 14, 1988 in Seattle, WA. They have lived in Orting for most of their 22 years of marriage with their two children in the home that Danny built. Danny was a larger-than-life personality who had a great sense of humor and a gift for making people feel comfortable. His work ethic and skills were legendary, and his accomplishments many. His greatest pride and passion was his family especially his children Seth (17) and Tessa (11). There was no father prouder and no husband more devoted than Danny. He is survived by wife and two children, as well as his parents. Danny was also blessed with an extended family including two older sisters Debbra Sullivan (Michael), St. George, UT, Tammie Ann Dickerson (Tom), Sandy, UT; two younger brothers Craig Rodgers (Patty) of AK, Wayne Rodgers (Alana), MT, 17 nieces and nephews, and nine great nieces and nephews. While his time with them was all-too-brief, Danny's family will forever be grateful for the years they had with him. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
