Maureen, LaPreal, Martell, and Lamond, I'm sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I always thought of her as one of my favorite aunts. I always remember her with a beautiful smile on her face. She always made me feel loved.
Love,
Gayla (Burgess) Eborn

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Sister Dena Nokes (as I knew her). She was always somebody I looked up to as a stalwart member of the church. She was always friendly. My parents had nothing but good to say about her while I was growing up in Riverton 1st Ward. I still remember being impressed by a talk that she gave in Sacrament Meeting on one occasion, talking about the importance of using the Deseret Industries for donation and for buying things also. She made her point very memorable when she said something like, "and the dress I am wearing right now, is from the DI!" She made her point very well, because she looked good in it.
I pray that you may all feel the Lord's comforting Spirit as you think of her and grieve for her passing into the next life, which I am sure for her, will be glories.
With Love, Alvin Brey

I wish I could be there to share this with you. Your mom meant a lot to me. LaPreal and I met the first day of kindergaten and your mom always welcomed me to your house. Your family was very special. I have a lot of good memories of the Nokes home.
She is in a better place now and with the loved ones who went before her. Bet she is having a good time with my parents too!
You will miss her when the special days come around. But always remember the good times, the laughter, the times she when she was the only one who understood you. Cherish the time you had with her. God was ready for her.
She will always be in your heart and talk to her once in a while you will feel her presence in love, and those trying times.
God bless you all and we will all meet again someday soon
