Edith Johnson Obituary

1919 ~ 2012
Edith Johnson, born November 5, 1919 to John and Ivy Alma Wallis Johnson in Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on November 11, 2012 in Provo, Utah from complications following a fractured hip.
Edith, affectionately known to her family as "Tuda," served extensively in ward and stake callings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and for many years was secretary to Ernest L. Wilkinson, President of Brigham Young University.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters and is survived by three sisters and one brother: Beth Johnson, Lois (Mrs. Kenneth) Nilsen, Ester (Mrs. James E.) Rasband, all of Utah, and Clyde W. Johnson of Texas.
In her later years she was especially close to her nephew Maure S. Baker and her nieces Beth (Mrs. Ronald) Knudsen and Stacy (Mrs. Theon) Rawlings.
Graveside services will be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Salt Lake City on Saturday, November 17th at 12:00 noon. More information available at www.premierfuneral.com.
In lieu of flowers, Edith would be pleased to have gifts given to Brigham Young University.
