Eric Soderborg Obituary
Eric Romney Soderborg was born October 25, 1960 to Alvin C. and Afton R. Soderborg in Salt Lake City, Utah. He died August 21, 2020.
As a youth, Eric attended Sherman Elementary School, Evergreen Junior High School and Olympus High School. Later he attended the University of Utah and earned an associate's degree in Computer Science
Eric had three children from two marriages. He leaves behind daughters Joni and Amber, and son Ryan.
Survivors also included siblings Kathleen (Martin) Vander Veur, Lynne (Ken) Dawson, Mark (Paula) Soderborg and Gayle (Dan) Roberts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Afton Soderborg, a sister Laurel (Robb) Cundick, and a brother Lee (Karen) Soderborg.
The unique trials of recent times, including the difficulties imposed by a pandemic, left him overwhelmed and unable to cope with depression. Some of his final words were expressions of love for his family.
Until we meet again, rest peacefully, dear brother.

I am so deeply sorry to hear of Eric´s passing. I have good memories of him. He was a sweet guy, and caring friend. May he now be at peace.
