Jason, my nephew. Never have I forgot about you and our talks. Working together on your car to so many other things. I have not heard from your cousin Myles (my son) in years. I sure thank you for giving him a call letting him know he is cared about. I love you! You are not gone to me. I feel your presence. Love, uncle Steve. Bye the way, thanks for visiting me when I was living in a camp trailer. We were there for each other. I know your brother loves you. Well I don't need to tell you that. Prayers for you always.

Jason, uncle Steve here. I feel your presents every day. I cherish our time together. Our good conversations through the good and rough times. You confided in me as well I did with you. We share a bond which will never go away. You are always in my thoughts and my heart. I'm looking for that photo at snowbird of us. We had a laugh with that one. It was such a memorable moment for me. So much to say. You are in my prayers. Love you Jason. You are not gone to me.

Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened. Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I, and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the same easy way you always used to. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced heir of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile and think of me. Pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effort, without tears. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is death but another step to an even more glorious life with God? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. Don't cry for me. All is well.
I love you Jason, Mom

You and Eric had so much fun together!

Jason is still with me. He will never leave me; he is forever in my heart. I can feel him there. He is my son; he is a part of me. As I watched a beautiful desert sunset yesterday, a feeling of peace overcame me. Jason whispered to me, "Don't cry Mom, it's a beautiful sunset isn't it? I'm okay. I'm here. I am happy. I am smiling. Heaven is glorious and I will see you again soon. Take care of my best friend, Eric, my little brother. I love that kid. He is a quality human. I have such a great family and friends. I love them all so much. I love you Mom. Don't worry about me. I am fine. Please don't cry, please don't cry Mom. Everything is okay.” … Jason, I was so blessed to be your mother. I will miss your wonderful spirit, sensitivity, and great sense of humor. I will miss that wonderful smile of yours. Terry and I love and miss you so much!
Love, Beemer

“When our job here is finished, we will see you again Jason”. Until then, my job is to live each moment to the fullest. To not always hold the handrails but to let go, and experience life for how it is intended. To love family and friends no matter the distance, to truly see and not just look, to not dwell on the “what if” forgetting to live, and to be thankful for what I've been given. If I can do just that, when my job is finished down here I can thank my cousin Jason for allowing me to alter my outlook on life. To make the most out of each day and to see the “color” in life like it's my first time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Uncle Brian, Eric, and family.
