Jennifer LynnePetty 1973 ~ 2003  Loving mother, beloved daughter, sister, partner and friend, passed away in her home November 4, 2003 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 30. Jennifer was born March 27, 1973 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Douglas Craig and Gayla Edith Petty. She grew up in West Valley City during her younger years then moved to Sandy where she graduated from Hillcrest High School. She was blessed with a daughter and a son, moved to Mesa, Arizona for a few years and returned to Salt Lake in 2000. Jennifer enjoyed family, music, dancing, soccer, playing piano, cooking, crafts, movies, laughing, shopping, eating sweets, journaling, collecting bears, dolls, candles and music boxes. Jennifer always stopped to smell the roses. She will be greatly missed by all who encountered her big heart full of unconditional love. We will always remember her warm smile and sparkling blue eyes. Jennifer is survived by daughter, Samantha Lynne Petty; son, River James Mathews; parents, Craig and Gayla Petty; boyfriend, Rudy Reyes; two wonderful grandmothers; sisters, Stephanie and Angela; brothers, Justin and Michael and their families. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 15, 2003, 11:00 a.m. at the Bluffdale 4th Ward, 14400 South Redwood Road. Friends may call Friday, November 14, 2003, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, South Jordan City Cemetery, 1055 West 10500 South.
