I have attached two photos of Margo and my older brother, Pete, playing in the Strasser yard in the winter of 1949, shortly after immigrating to SLC from Basel, Switzerland.

I was so very sorry to hear about Margo's passing. The Strasser family have been friends of our family, the Ramjoués, for almost a lifetime. I remember going to the Strasser family home on 7th South and West Temple in Salt Lake City when our family first immigrated to Salt Lake City from Switzerland in 1948. I remember as a young boy playing with Delbert, Linda, and Margo at the Strasser home. We had some fun times together. I have added a photo taken in 1949 at the Strasser's. In the photo are Margo and my brother Pete Ramjoué.

In recent years my memories of Margo are of crossing paths at the grocery store. This might sound small but in reflection, it was not! I always loved to stop and have our moments of catching up! Somehow she always made me feel a little lighter, a little brighter after our chat and I would count that as a bright spot in my day! She always made me feel somehow, I don´t know... special.
Any way, Margo,... thank you for being you and sharing a little part of that with me! I am keenly reminded from knowing you... to be kind, stay present and remember that all of the moments that make up our days, matter! I hope my appreciation is reaching you dear Margo!!

Margo was a lovely soul. I loved seeing her and the pugs at the barn taking care of her flowers.

I was saddened to hear the news of Margo's passing. I had the advantage of having a work relationship as well as a social relationship with Margo. She was a kind, dignified, smart and hard working woman. We all loved hearing about her adventures on the ranch with her horses and many other animals. We had lunch a few months ago with Margo and her daughter Margaret and had a great time. She will be missed.

Margo was the big sister I never had. She was my next door neighbor when my children were very small. No matter what I needed, she would always help including late nights painting or hanging wallpaper. My children all loved being at her house and her daughter, Heather, was like a big sister to them. Margo was a wonderful cook and often included us in the family meal. Some of my favorite recipes are from her kitchen. Her home was tastefully decorated and clean. I have patterned her style even now. She knew how to mix the old, new, and interesting in the most charming and inviting ways. And her garden was lovely. Again, I learned so much from her and wanted my yard and home to feel like hers.
And not to be forgotten, she was an example to me of devotion to her religion and unwavering faith. And when needed, she could let you know how to do better with a smile and her easy laugh.
I was sad when she moved away, but I never lost that familial bond with her. Our trips to Midway will not be the same...

My Mom Myrle Pierce served with her in the Valley View 10th Ward Library, many years ago. She talked about Margo a lot. So sorry for your loss. Mom passed away January of 2015. I hope that they are having a reunion.

It has been such a pleasure for me to gather with Margo for the Wasatch Literary Society, Midway widows´ group, church, and Sunday School. Her kindness enriched each gathering. I am praying for you family members to feel peace and comfort even though you feel a great loss at this time.
My love to you,
