I have so many wonderful memories of my aunt Marie. She was always there supporting me at all my major milestones in my life. I will never forget the words of wisdom she gave me on my wedding day. I will miss her smile at family get togethers. She truely was a special person.

Phil -- I am so so sorry for your loss. Though I knew her a short time, Marie was one of the sweetest women I've know. My thoughts are with you. Lisa Millar from Kiwanis

We will miss our dear cousin Marie. We have never known a woman with more courage and strength. We know she is now beside her Heavenly Father and with all the friends and relatives who have proceeded her. Our blessings also to Phil, Scott, Art and all her loving family. You are in our hearts always.

Marie and I worked together in the law firm, Barker, Ryberg, and McCoy. She had a magnetic, genuine personality. Although many years have passed, I treasure fond memories shared with her. A friend that truly left a lasting impression. My sincere sympathy to you and your family, Phil, during this difficult period.

Marie was always strong in the face of the travails that her rheumatoid arthritis brought upon her. I never heard her complain and she definitely lived her life to the fullest. I appreciate the love she and Phil have shown my two children over the years, they were like an adopted aunt and uncle to them. She was always so gracious whether we were visiting her home or if I just dropped by while on a bike ride. Rest in peace and no more pain Marie!

Marie was the kind of Mother and Grandmother I would like to emulate. Her smile would light up the room and would make everyone feel welcome. As a woman Marie was confident, poised and beautiful, with a quiet inner strength. I enjoyed watching her with her grandchildren, completely engaged as she would play games read books and not to forget the many craft projects. I will miss Marie's wisdom and guidance and most of all her laughter and amazing smile.

I'm sorry for your loss. I knew Marie through the Cottonwood Women's Study Group. She was a delight and that she has passed away while so vibrant seems too sudden ... or perhaps that is the way we all hope to go. She had a good strong sense of self and told of a journey to empowerment by learning to use the word NO. Best wishes to your family. Sincerely.

Truly a gracious and lovely lady who had discovered the secret of getting much out of life and celebrating its gifts. It's been a great pleasure knowing her and she will be missed, but certainly not forgotten. A friend, Bill Laursen
