Price, UT-Nathella Hansen, age 87, of Price, Utah passed away on January 28, 2025.
She was born of Alvin and Minnie Meleta Tolman Durfee, on September 26th 1937, in Hurricane, Utah. She married Wilford Ray Hansen on December 2, 1960, in the Salt Lake Temple. Wilford preceded Nathella in death on February 7, 2018.
Nathella loved to read and would read while others watched TV. She enjoyed family time, bowling, sewing, and temple visits with her mother, then her children. She loved to minister.
Nathella was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In addition to attending the temple with her mother, she was also a temple worker. Nathella held many positions in the Church and loved to be involved, especially in the choir.
She is survived by her children, Clifford (DeAnn) Hansen, E. Marie (Karl) Taylor, Kalvin (Tammy) Hansen, Kristine (Darin) Bitton, Minnie (Michael) Wunderlich, Darin (Stacy) Hansen, Leon (Glenda) Hansen, LeGrande (Tina) Hansen, Aleha (Adam) Larsen; sister, Marcia; 45 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Judson, Milo, and Leon; sisters, Meleta, LaJaunna, and Conna.
The family would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to Abby and the rest of the CNS team for their care of Nathella these last months. Their service and care did not go unnoticed.
Funeral service, Monday, February 3, 2025 10:00 a.m., Price 6th Ward Chapel (303 West 500 South, Price, Utah). The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street, Price, Utah) and from 8:30 – 9:45 a.m. at the 6th ward prior to the service. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates (6500 South Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84084), 3:30 p.m. Special thanks to Micah and the rest of the Mitchell Funeral Home staff for their kind care and assistance.

She and I had a lot in common, we both raised large families, she had 10 and I had 9 Children grew up in the same ward, and schools. She was a happy loving friend who loved to read
