Stephen Fullmer Obituary

Stephen A. Fullmer, age 71, passed away June 23, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born November 26, 1943 in Payson, Utah to Sidney Glen Fullmer and Joyce Lorraine Cowan. He attended Olympus High School (1962). He married Vicki Griffith, later divorced, then married Yvonne Fullmer on August 28, 1997 in West Valley City, Utah and then sealed in the Jordan River Temple on March 31, 2011.
Heaven gained another angel… we lost our dear sweet father, grandfather, and friend. Steve's personality and love were contagious and the things he loved drove him. He loved his family and the Lord and they were his first priority. He taught us all so much and we have many great memories with him. He loved cowboys, trucks, boats, motorcycles, horses and his boys (dogs); but above all, he had a fierce love for his wife, kids and grandkids. He touched the lives of all he knew. We will miss his teasing and his humor, we love and miss you.
Stephen is survived by his wife Yvonne Fullmer, his children Steve Jr. (Kirsten) Fullmer, Sidney Chris (Shilo) Fullmer, Joe Fullmer, Tracy (Trent) Ladle, Mindy (Kyle) Anderson, Britney Wilson, 18 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at the LDS Church, 4251 South 4800 West, West Valley City, Utah. The family will receive friends Friday June 26th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Valley View Mortuary, 4335West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah and one hour prior to the service at the church.

I just did hear about Steve passing away, and send my hearfelt condolances to Yvonne and family. I work as a demonstrator at Costco and previously at Sams Club. I always looked forward to seeing him. He had to endure so much pain, but was always so friendly. I will miss your hugs and kind words. R.I.P. my friend.

Yvonne, So sorry for your loss Steve was one of a kind. Remembering back to the first time I met him I was a young father 21 years old the year was 1979 when I first went to work at the trucking co. Steve was the first one to make me feel welcome we spent the next 12 years working together. The times we spent together and the pranks we played on other workers Steve made it fun to go to work. I often find myself telling my grandchildren about the old days and the fun we had until we meet again fair well my old friend Chris & Dixie Schiffman

How I will miss his smile and the cheerful compliments that he always shared with me and everyone. His smile lit up the room. I can just see Heaven aglow as he is now sharing that smile there.
