JAMES NASSAR Obituary

JAMES JOSEPH NASSAR 6/9/38 - 4/25/2013 The Lord opened his arms and took Jim home on April 25th, 2013. Jim was born on June 9th, 1938 in Boston, Mass., to Joseph and Hilda Abunassar. He was one of ten children. Jim attended Boston area schools. He moved to California in 1962. Jim owned the Mojave Barber College and worked at Ye Ole Tyme Barber Shop. He is survived by three daughters: Lynne Champagne, husband Paul, Jenny Nassar & fiance Terry Chuning, Debbie Nassar & husband Joe Bernabe and one son James Nassar Jr. Seven grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren that he loved very much; many nieces & nephews; sisters, Mary Allen, Louise Carlie, Yvonne and Linda Thurston. Jim is predeceased by his parents, two brothers, John & Wayne Abunassar, sisters, Theodora, Helen, Nancy. A memorial will be held at the Alano Club in Apple Valley, Wed. May 1st at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society can be made in memory of James Joseph Nassar.

jim was always along with his family very kind to me., i will do my best as a human being and a friend of jim's and his family to do the same and pass on to others the kindness they showed me and still do., i can say that jim and his family are all BOSTON STRONG !
