Edward Lint, 56, passed away peacefully at his home on February 15, 2016. He was born in Des Moines on February 19, 1959, to Fred and Marian Lint.

Edward was the Grounds Department Supervisor at Drake University for 38 years. He loved anything with a motor, a true gear head, and was a member of the Goodguys Car Club.

Edward is survived by his sons, Eddie Lint II, Jon (Angella) Quijano, and Alex (Shannon) Quijano; grandchildren, Noah, Ryder, and Rylee; brother, Jerry Lint; sisters, Cheryl Trogdon, Chris (David) Klapproth, Marla Trogdon, and Lisa (Jeff) Clark; as well as a host of other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tim and Fred Lint; sister, Sue Storm; and long-time love and friend, Dee Ann Lint.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2016, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Edward.
