I was thinking of Mike the other day after we attended the funeral of Ralph Oltman. What fun we all had playing sports in SEHARC. Miss seeing your happy face and your vibrant personality.

Hi Baby,
Cant believe it's been 2 months already. I miss you so much. It's so quiet without you around. So much has changed, but hopefully it has made me a stronger and better person. Love you! Teri

What a shock to hear of Mikes death. What a wonderful person, met him through softball and volleyball with the state of Iowa and he never failed to speak and joke as we met passing by on the capitol complex. RIP Mike I will miss you buddy.

"Hoops" would always bring a smile to my face...even if I hadn't seen him in a long time! He will definitely be missed.

Hoops and I shared many a laugh both on and off the volleyball and basketball courts. I most appreciated his sense of humor and knowledge of all things "trivial". If you never had the chance to spend a day with Mike sailing the Caribbean making wisecracks about life in general, you missed out. RIP Hoops from your old doubles VB partner "Spud"

Sending a prayer that your warmest memories will help to ease your grief and bring you comfort. "Hoops" was one of the best! Always brought a smile to your face. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. RIP Hoops.
