A.J. Lowery Obituary
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Friday in Greenwood Chapel. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Memorials: Aledo United Methodist Church Building Fund.
A.J. was born June 15, 1918, in Clarietta. He was a member of Aledo United Methodist Church. He was a retired electrical contractor and a prolific inventor. He was preceded in death by his wife. Illa Ruth Ogle Lowery, who passed away Nov. 10, 2000, they had been married 63 years; his daughter, Carolyn Keiser who died April 10, 2006, and her husband, Richard E. Keiser, who died Feb. 26, 2003; five brothers; and six sisters.
Survivors: Daughter, Jerry Ruth Ballard and husband, Bob, of Aledo and their four children, Sarah Dunavin, Jeffrey Ballard, Joseph Ballard and Andrea Ballard; the late Carolyn and Richard Keiser's children, Alan J. Keiser, Lesley Tedford, Lesa McClure, Brian Keiser and Matt Keiser; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
