Scott and Lori,
I was so saddened to hear about what happened. I had the privilege of meeting and knowing Alyssa through taking her and Brooke Aten, and the other students from Acton BC to Super Summer. She was such a sweet, sweet girl and I was so very impressed with her and her walk with Christ. Times like these there are never words to say but please know that me and my family are praying for you and your girls during these difficult days, that God would love on you through His people and would bring great peace and comfort to your lives. God bless you all.

I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter, Alyssa. There is nothing more devastating than the loss of a child. God understands how hard it is to say good-bye to those we love so dearly and He promises that, through Him, we will one day be together again. We all share in your sadness and pray you find comfort in the certainty of His promises. Your family has continued to be lifted up in my prayers.
With deepest sympathy,

Sometimes it's hard to understand why God allows these things to happen. It's during these times especially, that we have to stay strong in our faith. Alyssa must have been really special for God to want her so soon.
