How beautiful the day and night;
The earth is singing in the wind,
The voices rise and touch the sky
Telling all the earth’s believing
And in the night sighs fall down,
and from the skies sighs fall down on me.
And when I move away from view
My voice is singing in the wind,
It rises up to touch the sky
Telling all that I believe in,
And from the night earth shall sing.

Thanks to all of you, our friends, for the kind words and thoughtfulness. Haven't seen many of you in years, but to know you still remember us is so very comforting. The boys and I got Barb's memorial roadside cross place at the accident site this past Sunday, Father's Day. I knew I LOVED her, but didn't know she was loved by so many in her professional life, as well as her private life. We were able to pay tribute to her via tape recordings and records....she played and sang at her funeral the songs that meant so much to her and I. Flowers all the way from China. Truly, the LOVE of my life. Sincerely, Jack French

Dear Jack, It is still so hard for me to believe that Barbara is gone. It is a comfort to know that she is with our Heavenly Father, and is a beautiful Angel watching down on us.I keep seeing her smiling face everytime I hear her voice on the messages at the Credit Union. She always had such good advice for me whenever we talked. I know how much she loved you and her family. Her memory will be with you always.Richard and I really loved both of you very much and I pray that you will stay in contact with your Credit Union family. You will always be a part of us.We love you very much. TO THE FRENCH FAMILY:
Through my friendship with Jamie, I had the distinct pleasure of knowing Barbara and the rest of the French family. What a truly remarkable woman Barbara was ... raising three fine sons is evidence of that alone!
I will always remember the wonderful way Barbara had of making everyone feel so welcome in her home. The Christmas I spent with y'all is one of my most memorable ever. Barbara's laugh was so contagious!
Although our lives have gone in different directions, I will always be grateful for the privilege I had of knowing each and every one of you. My heart aches for your loss.
Love always,
Vickie

Jack, Rusty, Jamie & Jerry:
All of us lost a very special loved one on May 28th....a day we'll never forget. Barbara taught me so many things through the 43 years she was a part of my life, including the example she set as a Wife, Mother, Sister and Friend. I will miss her laughter, advice and talks that we shared. I'm thankful to have so many memories with Barbara that I can cherish forever. Our whole family dearly loved Barbara. I can't wait for the day that we will join her in Heaven!

Heaven Is My Home
Heaven is now my home for all eternity. I am walking with my Jesus beside
the Crystal Sea.
I look and see my family and friends are gathered all around. My soul has
been made free and no longer am I earthly bound.
Singing to my Lord I hear so I join in as voices life in praise. What joy I
feel as I look upon His face that my hand in worship I gently raise.
On heavens bright shore one day my loved ones and I will meet again.
With God's great love and grace He will say, "My child now enter in."
Let the Lord be your strength on the days you ask why and find it hard to
understand. My Lord will comfort and dry all tears while your in the
hollow of His hand.
So we will have a day of rejoicing and it really won't be long. When that
day is finally before us "Victory In Jesus" will be our song.

Jack, Jamie, Jerry, and Rusty;
I have known you guys all my life. I was so sad to hear of your loss. Jack, my heart hurts for you losing your Father and your Wife so close together. I have prayed that God will comfort you and the boys and heal your hearts. We all know Barbara is now in a better place, probably talking the Lord's ear off :) I remember taking ceramics with her and my Mom when I was little, and how Jerry and I used to always run around. Seems like someone was always telling us to "be quiet" *smile*. I remember being so in awe of the way she played the piano, it was beautiful. Just wanted you to know that even though it has been quite a while since we have seen you and your family, our "Christian" family is always in our thoughts and our prayers, and we will continue to pray that God will be with you in this difficult time. I love you guys.
Sincerely,
Terri McDowell-Bennett

~Nana and Pappy always took me out to the restaruant called 'JoJos' for my birthday - for desert, I would always order Jello.
~She always had a styrofoam cup of coffee in her hand.
~She called me pumkin.
~Ever since I was 10, she always had to look up to me.
~When I was over at her house one weekend, Nana had a pair of black, leather, high-heeled boots that I never took off the entire weekend.
~Everytime I went into her bedroom, I looked into her jewelry box, and tried on a ring or two.
~One time when I was four-wheeling, I wasn't sittin on it the right way, and I went flying off. She came running to me: "Jill, are you okay?!?!"
~When you would turn the TV up loud or turn the radio on, she'd always ask: "What's all the rackit?!?!"
~When she would go to bed and I was still up, she'd tell me not to slame the Microwave door.
~Nana was the first one that got me wearing make-up - Mary Kay of course!
~I loved walking into her house at Christmas time, you never knew what it was going to look like.-- thats year round!
~I remember the first goat that died, and she cried - holding a cup of coffee.
~She gave lots of points to Shelby and I at the piano.
~She had some of the weirdest eye glasses.
~Nana had her own sense-of-style.
~She was a slow eater.. maybe cause she talked so much.
~She had her own library of movies, she'd always let us barrow them: "Write down your name and what movie..." I think she would have made alot of money if she would have charged us!
~I could listen to Nana play the piano and sing for hours.
~She loved the game 'Solitaire'.
~Nana told me that when she would try and roll over in bed, that Star would start to growl.
~She loved her camper.
Nana had the biggest heart, out of anyone I know.
~She is lucky she still had hair after raising those 3 boys!
~I remember (notlong after they moved into the Weatherford house), a group of us went walking in the very back before it got all cut back, and all of us got stuck in these bushes, and if it wasnt for my Hot pink-orange-green jacket -- Jerryboy and Mitzi would have never found us!
~She loved her deck...
family...
kids...
husband...
job...
grandkids...
dogs...
Bunny the Donkey...
paino...
and most of all she loved the Lord!

It could happen in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye...my friend has left this earth, in Heaven she now resides. One day I will see her again when we meet on the other side. I will miss her dearly.
