Becca Reeder Obituary
June 3, 1973 - May 30, 2023
Arlington, Texas - On May 30, 2023, Becca Reeder of Arlington, Texas passed away in Athens, Greece while vacationing with friends in anticipation of her upcoming 50th birthday. Instead of having a party here on Earth, our beloved Becca celebrated with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and a host of heavenly angels.
Becca was born June 3, 1973, in Newport, Rhode Island, but moved to Texas in infancy and attended school in Arlington, ultimately graduating from Martin High School. In keeping with family tradition, Becca then attended Baylor University, where she graduated with excellent grades.
For the last 20 years, Becca worked as a senior accounting analyst for Celanese Corporation, where she also served as vice president of the Celanese Charitable Foundation Board of Directors. In her personal life, she enjoyed travel, Broadway musicals, live sports, and fashion. She was famed for her generous and thoughtful gift giving, and equally famous as one of the world's greatest Jon Bon Jovi fans.
Becca is survived by her parents Jim and Faye Reeder of Arlington; her sister Rhonda Aghamalian of Arlington; and her brother Brandon Aghamalian of Austin, along with his wife, Jenny, and Becca's nieces Juliet and Leighton and nephew Dashiell. Other survivors include Becca's aunts Colleen Riggins, Heidi Croce, Sheila Maxcy, and their families; her great-aunt Lucy Thompson and Lucy's family in Arlington and Tennessee; her many friends; and her beloved kitties Jovi and Izzy.
Preceding Becca in death is Becca's mother, Sharon Smith Wilson, as well as grandparents Ethel and J. B. Reeder and Dr. Clayton and Doris Jean Smith.
A celebration of Becca's life will happen at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 12, at First Baptist Church in Arlington, 301 S. Center St., with a reception immediately following in the church's Welcome Home Center. Arrangements by Wade Funeral Home (see their website for an expanded obituary).

I was Becca´s personal trainer at LA Fitness many moons ago. She was a client that became a friend. We would meet at least once a year for dinner and catch up. We would always pick up where we left off and it was always so fun. I´ll miss her funny stories about her love life, the cats, the next Bon Jovi concert. She was a great person and I will miss her dearly.
