Billy was a very helpful person who aided, not only his own unit in the Army, many other units in Italy that needed assistance. He was also MORE knowledgeable about missions than his
command. My regret is not having obtained his final military award for him.

My Dad was my hero growing up. I always looked up to him, I was always proud to call him my Dad, I love him with all of my heart and I will miss him terribly. I will cherish the memories I have of him. I am so happy that he is with Jesus in the Kingdom of Heaven and I am so glad that there is coming a day that I will get to see him again and be able to tell him that I love him all I want to.

I worked side by side with Billy for several years at the Sheriff Department and he was one of the finest men I have ever known. I absolutely loved him and am heartbroken. He served his country and the citizens of Tarrant County with the upmost honesty and integrity, and had a heart as big as all outdoors. Thank you for being my friend. Rest Peace old buddy...............
