Claire Anne Loisel went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, Thursday, April 7, 2016, after fighting a good fight at a Fort Worth medical center. Memorial service: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Christ Chapel Bible Church, Fort Worth. Memorials: Donations may be sent in Claire's memory to the NICU at Cook Children's. Claire Anne was born Dec. 17, 2015. She accomplished more in her short three and a half months than most people do in their entire lifetime, overcoming extreme prematurity, a low birth weight and a suspected cancer diagnosis that proved to be benign. Claire was the darling of her unit and touched so many people's lives with her sweet and easy personality. Nurses and doctors fell easily in love with her. Born 13 weeks early and weighing only 1 lb. and 12 oz., Claire was fierce. She flourished and grew under her doctors' care and her family's love, and then Jesus called her unexpectedly home. Claire joins her grandfather, John Loisel Jr., and all of her great-grandparents in heaven. The family would like to thank the Cook Children's Medical Center staff for their effort and dedication. Survivors: She is survived by her father and mother, Eric and Sally Loisel; her brother and sister, Noah Loisel and Keira Loisel; her grandparents, Mark and Lola Davison, Don and Maribess Powell, and Gene and Carol Schutz; as well as her aunts and uncles, Chris and Sue Ellen Loisel, Pat and Ann Mooney, and Susan Schutz; and her beloved many cousins.
