Funeral: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Genesis United Methodist Church, with Dr. Jim Conner officiating. Burial: Flower Mound Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home.
Memorials: Fort Worth Model A Ford Club Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 470515, Fort Worth 76147-0515 or the American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers: Randy Minton, Pete Artzer, Danny Boutwell, Chuck Hatley, Greg Brown, Juan Salazar, Larry Howard and Mark Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Fort Worth Model A Ford Club.
Dan Frank Nowlin was born June 11, 1928, in Denton County and graduated from Grapevine High School. He was the owner of Dan's Model A Parts and was past president of both the Fort Worth Model A Ford Club and the Model A Ford Club of America.
He was preceded in death by brother, Royce Gene Nowlin.
Survivors: Wife, Dorothy Howard Nowlin; children, Janette Louise Clausen and husband, Calvin of Midland, Sara Elaine Nowlin-Edens of Arlington; stepchildren, Lawrence Dale Howard and wife, Kellie of Joshua and Mary Ann Wood and husband, Mark of Burleson; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Ferrell and husband, Jimmy of Dallas.

very hard working man who will be
missed. Dan was a good samaritan
who loved to help others enjoy
their wonderful classic cars and
doing that gave joy to Dan.
