Fort Worth, Texas - Don Robert Fox of Fort Worth passed away on December 26, 2023, in Fort Worth with his wife, Sandra by his side.
A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel and Cemetery 7301 E. Lancaster Ave. Fort Worth, Texas 76112.
Don Fox was born in Fort Worth. He graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1951. He married Sandra Simmons on December 9, 1980. He worked as a service technician and repairman for National Cash Register for 36 years. Don was active in the Lions Club. In 1998-99, Don was the president of the Handley-Meadowbrook Lions Club and was awarded Lion of the year for 1998. Don and Sandra enjoyed many trips together with the Lions Club. Don enjoyed golf and weekly pool matches with his brother George and many long-time friends. Don was a skilled mechanic and enjoyed working outside.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Ray and Hazel McGee Fox; brothers, George Fox and Michael Fox.
Don is survived by his wife, Sandra Fox; daughters, Donna Overton, Darla Pollard, D'Ann Howe; and son, Robert Fox. He is also survived by stepchildren, Garla Thomas and Chris Griffin.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
