Fort Worth, Texas - Doris Jean Cantrell Bubert, 77, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2021. She died from Covid complications.
Doris was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 31, 1943, the daughter of Jack Cantrell and Emma Martin Cantrell. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1961. She married Edwin William "Bill" Bubert in May 1964. She was a homemaker but did work off and on over the years. Her and her husband, Bill, settled in Arlington, Texas. Doris went back to school and graduated with a degree in Alcohol and Drug Counseling in 1999. In early 2000's she had to quit work due to health problems.
Doris was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Bill Bubert, who died in 2007; brother, Jackie Cantrell; sister, Barbara Jarvis; and grandson, James A. "Alec" Fentum.
Survivors includes son, Jesse Bubert; daughter, Mary Fentum and son-in-law, Jeff Fentum; sister, Martha James and brother-in-law, Roy James, Jr.; grandchildren, Wendy McKenzie, Laura Fentrum; and many nieces and nephews.
Family memorial will be at a later date.
