I had not seen Gloria for many years. After Alan has died, she made trips to NYC with her family and we would meet for lunch or dinner. Over the years we lost touch, but I have fond memories of her visits. Alan and I would have remained close friends if he was still alive. We had a very strong connection. Alan and I would stay with Gloria in Ft Worth when we were younger. She always made me feel like I was part of the family. The 3 of would hang out by the pool or have dinner together over a weekend stay. Alan has been on my mind the last few days. I was looking up to see where Alan was laid to rest and then I saw Gloria's announcement. I wanted to visit Alan the next time I was in Dallas. My prayers and thoughts are with Gloria's family now. Gloria I want you to know you touched my life and I am greatful I knew you. See you and Alan in heaven someday.
