In Loving Memory of Robert "Ebo" Earl Clark
1946 - 2026
Robert Earl Clark, lovingly known by his family as “Ebo,” of Azle, Texas, was born December 8,1946 in Lecompte, Louisiana, to Robert and Bessie Clark , and passed away on January 29, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was raised with strong values rooted in hard work, perseverance, and loyalty—principles that shaped both his personal life and professional career.
For 30 years, Robert was part owner of Fort Worth Gear & Axle, where he was widely respected for his strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to doing things the right way. He took great pride in his work and earned the admiration of colleagues and friends through his dedication and steady leadership.
A man of deep faith, Robert faithfully served as an elder at River of Grace Fellowship in Azle, Texas. His commitment to his church reflected his servant’s heart and his desire to live out his values through leadership, guidance, and care for others.
Above all else, Robert’s greatest joy in life was his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who found his deepest happiness in time spent with those he loved. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Donna Clark, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and cherished memories; and his children: Robert Jr. and Kallie Clark of Blue Mound, Texas; Benjamin Clark of Azle, Texas; Jamie and Melinda Ezell of Ponder, Texas; April and Jimmy Duvall of Azle, Texas; and Lisa and Shawn Mowry of Azle, Texas. Robert was a proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride. He is also lovingly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members who held a special place in his heart.
Also surviving Robert are his sisters Molly Gautreaux of Pine Prairie, Louisiana; Sue and Maurice Williams of Turkey Creek, Louisiana; and Mary Wrenn of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bessie Clark of Pine Prairie, Louisiana; his brothers Varnell Clark of Pine Prairie, LA, Travis Clark of Turkey Creek, LA, O’Dell Clark of Pine Prairie, LA, and Hubert Clark of Roanoke, TX; and his sister, Leona Jones of Shuqualak, MS.
