What a great tribute and send off. I had the opportunity to attend Gordon's Memorial service and it was just as he wanted. I know for sure he was smiling better yet laughing the entire time. He may have been doing a little Fais Do Do! One Slidellian to another Rest in Peace my friend! Aieee!

May God hold each of you in the security of knowing he is in the presence of eternal love, joy, and happiness. May God sustain each of you through your time of grief. Remember there is great rejoicing going on in heaven and Gordon is at his happiest time of eternal life with Christ. Love you all, Diana Kelly

I met Gordon within a few hours of hiring in at General Dynamics. I too enjoyed his many funny stories of his hunting and fishing trips. I knew his mother from the Slidell Post Office. He was a pleasure to work with. I am sure he will keep everyone entertained in heaven. I pray that his family will continue to find God's comfort and strength in all the many funny and fond memories of Gordon. God Bless you all during this most difficult time and the days ahead.
