Hazel Dodd Obituary
Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday at Tapp Funeral Home, Bro. Tommy Hall officiating. Burial: Old Saltillo Cemetery. Visitation: 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials: Contributions may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 1200 Summit Ave., Suite 770, Fort Worth, Texas 76120, attn: Larry Barber.
Hazel Looney Dodd was born Jan. 19, 1909, in Greenwood, the daughter of George W. and Mary Ellen Penn Looney. Mrs. Dodd married Lester Patterson Dodd on Sept. 12, 1926, in Mount Pleasant. He preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 1983. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Howard and Bill Looney; and a daughter, Betty Dodd Garrison. Mrs. Dodd was a licensed vocational nurse.
Survivors: Son, Paul Dodd and wife, Jane, of Arlington; daughter, Joann Tegethoff and husband, Ed, of Montgomery, Ala.; brother, Don Looney of Alpine; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
