Hazel Wilson Obituary

Hazel M. Wilson, 90, a retired bookkeeper for several local nursing homes, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Burleson. Brother Larry Elsea will officiate. Burial: Bethany Cemetery in Alvarado. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Brad Jackson, Kirk Jackson, Dirk Jackson, Clinton Jackson, Russell Clowdus, Lawrence Clowdus, Kenneth Clowdus, and Jack Clowdus.

Memorials: If anyone so desires, memorials may be given to the Reece Prairie Baptist Church building fund.

Hazel Marie Wilson was born Oct. 13, 1911, in Alvarado to Elmer and Nellie Clowdus. She was a member of Reece Prairie Baptist Church and was a loving mother, grandmother and a good friend. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Wynelle Moore in 1973; her parents; and two brothers, Floyd and Raymond Clowdus.

Survivors: Son, Stanley Jackson and wife, Yvonne, of Burleson; brother, Howard Clowdus and wife, Helen, of Burleson; grandchildren, Brad Jackson and wife, Debbie, of Burleson, Kirk Jackson and wife, Cherri, of Burleson; great-grandchildren, Dirk, Clinton and Kyler Jackson; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
