Born Aug. 16, 1944, in Houston, she was the youngest child of Anerson McBride and Margaret Guthrey McBride. A lifelong Texan, Janice lived in Galena Park during her school years, graduating from Galena Park High School in 1963 and then attending colleges in the Houston area. She married her first husband, Robert G. Seydler, in 1967. While living in Houston they had their two children, Jason and Laura. In 1978, the family moved to Boerne, located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, where they resided for 13 years.

Janice began her career as a homemaker and then later became a pre-kindergarten teacher in Boerne. In 1988 she began working for her father's company, Insultherm Inc. She loved to travel for the company, attend trade shows and meet people. No one was a stranger to Janice, and she will be missed by all who knew her and all those she touched.

Redding; her parents; her son, Jason Bryan Seydler, his wife, Yadira, her granddaughter, Vivian, and grandson, Andrew; her daughter, Laura Sciubba and husband, Steve, her granddaughter, Isabella, but unfortunately she has missed the birth of her grandson due in two weeks; her stepson, Bryan Redding, his wife, Darcy, her granddaughter, Margo; and her stepson, Ian Redding, his wife, Lisa, granddaughter, Hannah, and grandson, Conner.
