I met Jef thur my job and his illness. I did not know Jef well, but he touch my heart in such a special way. Jef was a blessing.

Uncle Ken

August 2, 2007

In the beginning, Jef inspired us all with his energy and kind heart. Throughout his childhood, Jef faced many battles. Into his short adulthood, even in pain, Jef would hit home runs. Now he is with his Heavenly Father, still batting home runs for us all. We should take the humble example Jef has set, instil the memory in our families, and return the favor for Jef daily. I bet if we listen hard enough, we could hear the sound of Jef's bat, cracking the still air, and the crouds going wild!

Jodi Ryan

Jef, you left us a year ago tomorrow. It is still hard to imagine how life will go on without you. Your beautiful smile and your wonderful eyes and all the things you did to make people laugh.

To the family and friends of Jef - I did not know Jef personally, but he touched my heart and my life in the form of all the sweet stories I heard about him from his Grandma Jodi, my dear friend. What an extraordinary young man he was! There is absolutely no consolation for such a heartbreaking loss, but what a blessing it was to have him in your lives those short years. You are all in my heart and my prayers.

Jef was so precious and kind. He was a prankster and liked everyone. Jef never gave in to the cancer. He fought until his last breath. He taught me how to forgive and how to make each day count. He will be in my heart always. You never spelled my name right, Jef, but that is okay. I will be your Grema forever.

Fly fast, high and free forever.

With much love, Grema

To the family and many friends of Jeff:

I am deply sorry for your loss, I did not know Jeff that well, but my twin brother Bradlee and older sister, LaChrishia knew him and were friend with him. I first learned of his disease from the change bucket at Arizola's, once I realized who the young man was I placed all my change in there, I returned this past week and seen that the sign for the blood drive said "In memory of Jeff Fields." I felt the pain that you are going thru on July 17 when my uncle passed from a horrible trucking accident. I know it is a tough thing to deal with, but with time God will make it easy. May God be with you in this time of need.

Always in our hearts and prayers,

Brittany Gann, Trishaun(my fiance) and Markeith(my son)

No time on earth is long enough to share with those we love or to prepare our hearts for good-byes. May time soften the pain until all that remains is the comfort of memories and the love.

AS DAWN PUSHES UP THE MORNING LIGHT

WE PRAY OH LORD THAT ALL IS RIGHT

AS YOU BRING COMFORT IN OUR SORROW

GIVE US STRENGTH TO FACE TOMORROW

YOUR LOVING ARMS TO KEEP HIM SAFE

YOUR PERFECT LIGHT TO GUIDE HIS WAY

AS THE SOUND OF TRUMPITS SOFTLY PLAY

ANOTHER ANGEL FLIES AWAY.

TO BE WITH YOU AROUND YOUR THROWN

WE SEND TO YOU OUR JEFY HOME.

As a friend and co-worker of Kim Pack's, I was given the privilege of hearing about Jef's fight with cancer, the strength and humor he had shown through all of it, and the love that his family and friends had for him. I will try to honor the memory of a special life that was cut very short by trying to cherish each day that I am given, whether good or bad. My heart and thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends, and may God bless you all.
