My deepest sympathy to the Avery family. John and I have been friends for 15 or so years. We had an interesting relationship...we could and did on occasion have some pretty intense disagreements...time would pass and eventually it would be ok again. John helped me over the years a great deal. He had a wealth of knowledge and experience about Real Estate that he would willingly share. His sense of humor was terrific and I'll miss him. Since I moved he became my daily email buddy. He would IM me occasionally. I talked to him recently and am so happy I had the opportunity. John, I miss you. God bless.

John Earl Avery was my sweet and loving Brother and 7 years older. He accomplished so much in his lifetime that it's hard to name everything. John was a Realtor for 30 plus years. He was a Broker with GRI,ABR and numberous designations in the Real Estate Business. John's wall was filled with plaqes and awards of all kinds. He was active in the Elks Lodge Orginization for years, in the Airforce for 8 years in which he served in VietNam twice, Co-founded the PeeWee football league in Irving,Tx. He always loved to sing and enjoyed entertaining everyone. John loved and supported his family, co-workers and friends. He will be messed by all.
I loved him very much.

John Earl Avery was my brother. He was almost seven years younger than me and was always a tease.
When I was dating in high school and my date would come to the door to pick me up,he would tell them I was not home or that I had left with another boy. If I saw my date walking away I would yell out the window. Then the boy would tell me what John said. I was really mad at him, but I never could catch him. He was fast.
In later years we became very close and he would be there for me if there was a crisis.
I had surgery two days before he passed away and he called that Friday to see how I was feeling. He said he loved me.

My heartfelt deepest condolences to the Avery Clan, especially to my cousins Natalie (Daddy's Girl)Rusty and John. I am sad at the sudden passing of John then I find myself laughing out loud at things John did. I hung around my cousin Nat alot and we would go places with John. Nat would greet her Dad as "Hi Daddy" and I would greet him as "Hello Big Daddy". John certainly was a classic, one of a kind man. Rest in Peace Big Daddy! You will be sorely missed!
Sincerley,

To the Avery Family:
Please accept my most heartfelt sympathy for your loss. I knew John for many years, I bought my first home with his help...and because he was such an ace in his field...he also sold homes to many of my friends and almost everyone in my family! I have the greatest love and respect for him as a friend and business associate. I especially remember that he loved karaoke and betting on the horses at Lonestar...what a fun, intelligent, jokester!!! He will be greatly missed!
Rest in Peace John.

On the few transactions I worked with John, I left with a positive feeling. I remember Louann saying John was her mentor and she owed him a lot for her start at C21. We'll all miss his "to the point" sense of humor. We lost a good guy.

To the Avery Family:
I want to express my deepest sympathy to you. I worked with John for several years at Judge Fite and I miss him alot! I will especially miss all those crazy emails he would send.....I still have the recent ones saved he sent me including several from Friday. He had a good heart and was a very smart man. I enjoyed working with him and I missed him alot around our office. I remember that he used to wander around our office looking to visit and he would always flash me a big smile when he would pass my office and called me by his nickname for me.
I am glad I just recently ran into him at Chapps and we had lunch together and had a really nice visit. I got a nice big hug too.
I have had your entire family in my prayers all weekend. He will be missed. I will keep you all in my prayers in the weeks to follow.
John....I miss you! Send me yours emails from Heaven!
