John LeJeune Obituary

John LeJeune Jr., 65, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, from complications of prostate cancer. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Hallmark Baptist Church in Fort Worth. Interment: 1:30 p.m. Monday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Funeral Home. John was born July 10, 1945, in Jennings, La. Survivors: Wife, Patty; son, John LeJeune III and wife, Katina; daughter, Dawne Schwartz and husband, Kyle; grandchildren, Paige and Julie Schwartz and Johnathan and Joshua LeJeune; mother, Marjorie LeJeune; sisters, Gaynell Rosteet and Bertha Kibodeaux; and brother, William LeJeune.

We had a good time in Las Vegas for the VF-211 Reunion. John was great for all he did to get all of us old vets together and as it turned out to be, his last time. He made us laugh.
