Kent Conway Obituary

Kent Conway, 86, a retired livestock inspector, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2005, at a North Richland Hills hospital.

Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

Kent was born Dec. 12, 1918, in Kennedale and was a lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Kent was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Irma Lee Conway.

Survivors: Daughter, Anna Duke of Fort Worth; sons, the Rev. Jay Conway and wife, Elaine, of San Angelo, Bill Conway and wife, Fae, of Corinth, Tommy Conway of Fort Worth; daughter, Kay Ottinger and husband, Danny, of Fort Worth; brother, Lee Conway of Arkansas; sister, Vera Bailey of Fort Worth; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

I knew him for so long time when I was a little kid and former attended at Victory Baptist Church.He was a wonderful man to my family. I sure will miss him greatly. I will always remember him in my heart. I pray for you and family of Conway's. _\,,/
