Carol,
Leon and I went back many, many years and the great memories I have of him will forever live on. From all our wacky experiences at Scotty's, to our waterlogged fishing trip to Toledo Bend, to our last unexpected meeting at Paschal's high school reunion, I will always fondly remember him as a witty, caring and wonderfully good friend. He will be be missed be me and all that knew him. God bless Leon and you and all of his family.

Jan and I join everyone who has posted here and on the Paschal page in wishing Carol and Leon's entire family peace and comfort during this time. Jan and I both remember the many years you and Leon trusted Jan as your Pharmacist and friend. You and Leon always made the Paschal get-togethers welcome and fun for all. Leon will be missed but well-remembered by all of us.

Carol, I shall miss Leon so much. He will always be a fond memory to our club club. We never got to go fishing. He and I discussed many times about planning a trip, but I guess the distance between our homes was a drawback. Carol, I know you have your children and so many friends in the area to help you in the days ahead, but remember we are only a phone call away. You have our love and we send you our hugs my friend.

Dear Carol
We so looked forward to seeing you and Leon at our annual get togethers. Leon's absence will be greatly felt amoung all his friends. I'll never forget the first time I met you and Leon and he told me his name was "Fred" I told him I could remember that because that was my Daddy's name. Later that day I said something about Fred and people looked at me like I was a nut...I said you know Carol's husband; yes he got me good, but I later learned that was just Leon having a good time! RIP our dear friend Leon aka Fred!

Heaven gained quite a character in Leon, aka 'Bassjerk'. He never failed to make me smile and I loved to banter back and forth with him. I will see him again one day, and you can bet that after I hug his neck, I'm gonna mess up his hair for old times sake. That always got him going! Love and blessings to Carol, Hope, Robby and Carey.

Dear Carol, the years have separated us, but yours and Leon's friendship from those times long ago have been a part of who i am, and i have thought of you often; seems more so now that we're all older. Leon was a special character, one of a kind, and when we meet again one day, it will be as if it we're only a day or so; with a faked "caustic" greeting between friends, before the smiles and warm regards break out. I'm sorry i didn't get to see him before he left us.
With love and God's blessings;
Rodger W. Brownlee

To my beloved husband Leon, I thank you for every day we spent together, for every gift you gave to me, most especially our 4 children,for all the times you sat by my bedside when I was hospitalized, for every sweet card you gave to me (which by the way I still have), for every expression of your sweet love. My heart breaks as I never prepared for us to be apart. I am so proud we honored our vows...in sickness and in health, till death due us part. You were so generous in helping those in need and your heart was as big as all outdoors. I loved you all of our years together and I will continue to love you. I am grateful to God that you are no longer in pain and that peace fills your soul. Heaven will most probably be a bit different now with your humor there. Please don't forget me. Your devoted wife...Carol Jean

I love you and miss you so much Daddy. I'm going to miss your sick and sarcastic humor, calling you every time you're trying to watch your show, and especially seeing you play your guitar every morning on the bench outside. You mean more to me than you will ever know. I can't wait to see you again one day.
Love always,
